The IT Administrator provides Windows administration, IT infrastructure support, and is escalation for all IT issues. The IT administrator must have excellent troubleshooting skills, team mentality and customer service skill set.  

Educational and work experience Requirements: Current/active Microsoft certification is preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support and networking with Microsoft server systems and applications.

Technical Requirements:

  • Windows Server/Active Directory

  • VMware

  • Visio
     

  • Hardware and Software support for Windows based servers to included IBM, Dell, and HP
     

  • Microsoft SQL 

  • Understanding of cloud technologies
     

  • Avamar Backup or equivalent
     

  • Understanding of HIPAA and associated security measures
     

  • Hardware and Software support for desktop Windows PCs and Apple IMac and MacBooks
     

  • Microsoft Office Suite
     

  • Able to identify and solve network performance problems
     

  • Software deployment technologies (ghost, repackaging tools)
     

  • Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting)
     

  • Basic Cisco Switches and Router support
     

  • Remote access technologies (VPN, terminal services)
     

  • Mobile Devices such as IPhone and Windows Mobile/7


     

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Must be excellent at managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
     

  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
     

  • Must possess strong time management and organizational skills.
     

  • Must work well with diverse personalities
     

  • Must possess a can-do attitude and a commitment to being a team player.

  • On-call is required.
